..Hmm i didnt know that, everything iv read says " Laeger's 4130 Moly [Upper: 3/4" X .065", Lower:1" X .120" wall tubing".....ASR's 1"X.120 wall 4130 Chromoly both uppers and lowers"....So i thought i was in the ball park and I thought Ti was about 40% lighter then steal?? So I would be just as strong but lighter??..My biggerst worry was how was i going to weld it??

Some people actually over kill in 4130. Walsh uses .70 1 1/8. His arms are super strong. I know a few other smaller arms maker that use the same size. .70 1 1/8 ti is going on team suzuki's bikes. Complements of me.

Welding ti is the key to the whole process. YOU REALLY NEED A CHAMBER THAT HAS A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT. Alternate method is to use two argon tanks, one in tube and one out side tube. If you don't have any experience welding ti I would advise not trying on some tube that cost 25 bucks a foot.

...Im going to talk to a guy here in town that might be able to weld it?..He does a lot of race parts..Im not a big time racer,so i dont need over kill in strenth. You think id be ok with 1X.70 for lowers?..Am i correct on the about 40% lighter part?? 40% is about what i read.

TI man,
Some titanium Walsh A-ARMS would be sweet. Same design as the regular walsh's but TI? How much would a set cost?
