Jay and Doug,

Thank you guys so much for your follow through on this. This has to be the single largest upgrade that is not OEM related. Given that Tim's rebuild of a stock crank is pure magic, getting a company to make something like this for the dale is awesome. Thank you both for making my day.

A VERY HAPPY,
Sean

I'll be interested to see a comparison between a Timbo crank and a Falicon.

What kind of comparison you talking about? I think if you are talking power, then they are prob very close if not the same, depending on the size of the stroke tim makes.

We haven't lined them up yet on a track, but I imagine Happy is right about power, pretty close.

Difference that I know of, Timbo can correct if I'm wrong

Falicon:
new design - full round
knife edge Falicon rod
Direct bolt in (can use any Cannondale piston)
one stroke size available - 63.4mm

Timbo:
Reworks factory crank
Custom Timbo rod
Requires piston modification
more than one stroke option (I believe)
Price - cheaper than Falicon

Both cranks are balanced, although being full round and designed from scratch I think the Falicon probably has a slight advantage.

Isn't it great to have options? smile.gif

I was kinda curious if anyone has ridden both and if they could tell a difference in power or smoothness (vibration wise).
