making stock moto TI exhaust into shorty

where should i cut the TI moto exhast to make it a shorty? just got this full system from my friend for free. he just got a full TC exhaust with map. that combo rips.

Where you cut your pipe is up to you, I cut mine down to like 8 inches, I think? It seemed to lose a little low end torque, but it rips up top. I have a pic of it posted on photobucket.com but don't know how to show it to you without giving out my password.

there are four small rivets on the inside of the pipe where it looks like the FMF emblem would go. im thinking about cutting the pipe rite after those rivets.

Rather than chop off the back end of the exhaust, I trimmed off the front end. I had a big dent there. Then I reassembled it and everything fit perfectly.
