I think you are crazy for nixing the moto front end in favor of the POS American Stink front end. You should keep the Moto arms.

I'm mainly wanting Fox shocks. Nobody will respond to me at Fox when I send them emails while they're available for ASR's. I've never been into them as much either, but looking at giving them a shot. If Fox would make them for the Moto arms or even the Teixiera I would stay as is w/out question. IMO, Fox is losing money not responding to emails from people ready to buy.

Fox does not carry an Evol shock specifically for the ATK/Cannondale. ATK is using the Evols that would match up with the TRX450 with JRD or Houser a-arms. This was straight from the people at Fox.

As far as American Star being junk? I would disagree. How can they put out junk and offer 100% garantee against breaking? I've bent their tie rods and before, but a phone call and they have a replacement set coming free of charge. Their stock heims are a little sloppy but you can get better quality from them.

Hmm, that is interesting. I'm going to try and get ahold of Fox again. I've been really wanting to look at a set of Teixiera arms so I'll have to see if Fox is willing to talk to me on that.

Fox cannot build a set for Teixeira Tech arms. The longest shock they make is 20.5 inches and they require a 20.75 inch shock. Too bad his arms require such a long shock. They look like excellent arms, however most suspension companies dont have that length for Cannondales with the exception of TCS. Elka, AXIS, and MOTOWOZ all said it would be a custom order.

I sent the Walsh LT shock specs that I got from Nate Walsh to the guys at FOX earlier this week and I am awaiting to hear back. They require a 18.75" shock with a 5.375" stroke on their LT arms. I am hoping there is a cross reference out there that will work with these numbers.

I will have to measure but that sounds real close to a Moto Ohlins 2000ex.

It is pretty much spot on to the stock Moto Ohlins...just need to find a newer 450 application that uses these same figures. Walsh calculated wheel travel is 11.625" with his setup.

Well, I probably will not be able to run the Fox Evols with my Walsh arms. I may be able to run them with my Houser front end however. I just got off the phone with Shane and we went over some figures.

They offer the evols that are CLOSE, but not correct for this application.

19.5" with 5.5" stroke - TRX 450R with Gibson and several other arm mfgs arms
18.7 with 5.7" stroke - TRX 450R with Houser and JRD
18.9 with 5.6" stroke - LTR450 with Roll Arms

He said they are NOT making custom application shocks so I will have to measure my machine with both sets of arms and see if I can get something very close.

LTR450/Roll arms with a added internal spacer looks to be a perfect fit.I could do that if need be or anyone else.
