BTW John, I got my dad's running the other day. It needed a key switch; it will only run with the headlights on. Salt definitely took its toll.

Threw mine on the charger and it fired up instantly. Woot! Might have to come up there next weekend.

If the weather is cold at night the lake may be ridable for a week yet but there was open water in a lot of places .We did go a few miles up the river today and it was still solid. There is a foot of ice but the slush on top is what makes it drivable. When it starts to melt its a mess.

All we have down here is mud right now. We have to ride in the morning early before everything thaws out.
