I hope there is no long term damage from running a few miles with the pivot bolt out 3 inches. It looks like the engine will take take the strain if the bolt is out. I doesnt look like the block is cracked at all but i will do a complete teardown next week. I hope the shock is not bent either. We shall see. It might be a horror show.

I was told by a cop once to get my missing hub cap replaced. I guess it is illegal to run around with your nuts showing. Get it ?

I snapped one of the hollow pivot bolts too. Definately go with the solid replacement. Mine snapped at exactly the same spot and all I was doing was practicing at a track in muddy conditions. Upon inspection the crack was a clean break with some corrosion on a small portion of it. Which to me means that it had a hairline crack from the factory. By the way, Farrar has been mad at me ever since because he couldn't break his too!
