Better than you would think. They sit far enough back into the holder that the LED is very visable even in the light.

Pro400: pm 02Cannibal on this site and he will answer all of your questions. He is the one that found this out. It is using what is already there. Optimum sells a kit, but wants so insane price for it. I would PM him and ask away.

PM him or check out the docs on it first. I tested it using the info from his original plans. The temp level is for a nearing danger and danger level. The same goes for the volts.

All the parts came from Radio Shack.

The lights, holders, and resistors can all be found at radio shack. Any 4 conductor cable will do for the install. I used 4-wire telephone wire on mine. The voltage led blinks slow when below 10 volts and fast below 9 volts. The sensor light is triggered by the ECU when a sensor fault is reported. The over temp limits are actually set in the map. All the settings I've seen for the quads are 94.4 C (126.4 F) for the Marginal limit and 110.4 C (142.4 F) for the Critical limit.

Hat's off! It's an excellent instruction pack!

Thanks, I'm glad you were able to use them.

That's cool. I was going to mount them in the same place. But I changed my mind on the key holder. I mounted my key in the headlight bezzel. And my kill switch is going on the top of my bars.

Are there any fancier plans or enhancments in the future?
