I've raced 3 in the last 2.5 years and not one of them has had a single motor problem. I still have the first one and it has never even need a valve adjustment. Here's a pic of number 2.

Here is a pic of the first one when it was new. Between me and rowlrag, we raced the daylights out of it and it still runs like new today!

I think its normal to have things give in any race motor, cannondales produce more horsepower per cc then the competition.anytime you build a motor to its limits you take away from its reliability. The only motors to compare are the 450r and the yfz and both of them our taken a while to sort out.

I've had no problems with mine for a year and a half, until I decided to get some motor work done. If its running fine just leave it alone.

No problems on my first 03 Cannibal that I have been riding almost a year now. All updates and Stage 8 have been done and I'm very picky about maintenance. I go over bike completely after each ride/harescramble. Just bought my second Dale (with a Winky 450). Keepin' my fingers crossed! smile.gif

Not sure what this statement is about, I don't believe anyone here doesn't support our country.

Ive had no problems besides a couple of bolts backing out. Caught it in time and put a stage8 in and loctited everything. Over 50 hrs and it runs great.
