I use O'Neal All Terrain quad soles as well, had about a year or so on them, pretty durable

Pros: Inexpensive, rugged build, agressive treading sticks well to pegs

Cons: Not much for eye candy, Not very comfortable, plastic clamps

I have a couple pair, I ride with Thor T30 most of the time, they are really comfortable, and I havent had any issues with them whatsoever. I have some Fox Stewart Forma Pros, but they are way to pretty to ride with.

I have the Fox forma pro's. They are very nice to ride in but uncomfortable as all heck when I'm not. The sole doesn't have as much tread as I would have liked. I tried on the Thor T30's and loved them. Problem was finding any boot in my size in the end. I take a size 12 and there wasn't much of a choice in that size at any of the local dealers.

Alpinestar Tech 8's and I like them. They were kinda rough when they were new, very stiff.

I have also had a set of Thor boots.

That's what I had and couldn't get used to them. The sole is very hard and stiff.

I'd say if your riding GNCC type stuff you would want something with a lug sole. If you get stuck in a mud hole, or on a hill, you want a boot with some traction.

I have vectors and i can't complain. I wouldn't choose any other boot. Comfortable and flexible and still gives you the support that you need in a riding boot. but then again thats my opinion and everyone is entitled to there own.

got them from: http://www.tryalsshop.com/

i'll never have a different pair of boots they're so comfortable and they hold up great. Of course their trials boots so they are not as stiff as mx boots but they work great for trail and xc.
