BTW today I called LSR and they told me that their A-arms are ment for 16" shocks.. and when I asked about the 17" shock the person on the phone stated "I don't know what your talking about... our A-arms that are std are for 16" A-arms"

So I don't know what to think ....

I had talked to them before I purchased A-arms for mine about what length shock they require and I was told 17". So I'm thinking whoever you talked to is jerking your chain.

i had a set of PRP +2 a arms on my honda that had a wider shock mount possition on them, it actually makes the bike sit lower, and the suspension i alot smoother, but you might have to adjust it a little stiffer. these will work fine, just move your ride height adjustment up higher if its too low.

i know this is off topic....but if you have standard travel arms........can you weld on shock mounts farther out on your a-arms(9 inches out)...then be okay for LT shocks?????

Yep but the mounting bar will have to be removed and a bent down bar will have to be fabricated because the shock mount is much lower than the standard shocks.

so the shock mount must be lower...and also 9 inches out from pivot???....do you think about a 1 inch drop is sufficient enough???

Its got to be at least this low. Notice the bent mounting bar.

Yep a little trial and error was involved but now I have 12 inches of travel on +2 arms. It sure works good . I used some chromoly tubing and my pipe bender really strained to bend that stuff.
