I have jsut started racing my cannibal, it is all stock except for pipe, bars, Beadlock fronts, and a set of elka's up front. I am running stock tires and stock gearing and I blow yfz450's out of the water on holeshots (might be because I race C class) but the only thing that gives me a run for the money is a curtis sparks built 450r, and he can catch me and pass on the outside of the first corner in the first moto, but when stop bumps form there he skips off into the grass while I take the holeshot on the inside in the second moto.

That brings me to a question, When I put 18inch MXR4's on my dale I will pick up a good bit of acceleration right (I have the stock 22's on there now) ?

you will loose top end really bad. drop a tooth in the rear when you change, that helped my moto. yfz's dont corner well, i rode a fully built one again today and they just dont handle good. they are really fast in a straight line, but the cannondales put more power to the ground on the track.

That's not too bad. I got over $15,000 in my dale now.....since the 450 kit.

I am thinking about going to a 14 front to save my chain slider, so that will add a lot fo top, I might go down 2 teeth in the rear if it is too high, I want to be able to kill this 450r on the holeshot though.

just go up a tooth on the front so you will have 14-42 then just put er in third gear and drop the hammer and there isnt much out there that can get a holeshot on that. thats what i did all last summer. and there wasent many holeshots i didnt get.

Awsome! I am starting in second now with the stock ears and hitting 3rd shortly after the start and am giving the 450r a run.
