They need to fix their geometry on those billet arms (can you say ball joint bind?)....

Still wondering about Ti,give Lonestar a call they are currently testing a all Ti 250R chassis.Can you say $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.Ti is very hard to weld since it easily becomes brittle during the welding process.The Ti frames take up to 3x as long as a regular chassis to weld.Again I say $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Boy you guys are sharp!Okay it looks like these arms have some problems.What do you think about a aluminum a-arm though?

Personally, I think billet is fine, especially if the lower is well protected from impact damage - we have a lot of nasty rock around here & that could be a problem over time with aluminum.

The aluminum arms I have a problem with are the tubular ones like Yamaha used on the Raptor in 2001.

I remember being criticized on the ATVConnection board for voicing my opinion on them before the 2001 Raptors came out... After numerous injuries from upper control arm failures Yamaha changed to steel for 2002. I've personally seen a few of them break at cross country races, I'm sure many more did at local MX events where riders are likely to be using stock arms - not good....
