Removing the spark arrestor was good for a few ponies. Then the usual mods after that are to change the cam timing, exhaust, air filter & jetting.

johhny hales curtis sparks 450r with the best motor work you can do has 56 hp. trx's and yfz's with exhaust, piston, airbox lid off, jetted, run about 40-44 hp. i know i had one, after TC got done with mine it had close to 49 but it felt like 4.9:p stupid jap bike
oh yea the moto at the local speed shop with TT tires dynoed out at 46.6 hp with only a 450 kit and nothing else

if you hate jap bikes ben why are you trying to sell the moto and will take trades for a hybrid just a thougth:confused: :confused:

Iceracer also had his FX done with airbox mod and pipe he beat me by a couple HP.Not for long though.Timboporting,Airbox mods, FT pipe with 02 header and better mapping should put me past him.

dS did u take ur bike to a dyno? If so where just wondering where there was one in the area
