Just got mine and me being an electrical idiot, I have a question on the red tap that comes with the kit...so you just clamp it on the gray wire and it will cut through the wire insulation on its own, or do you need to pull back some of the insulation then use the tap. Sorry for the stupid question.

just clamp it on. Use a little dielectric grease as well to help keep moisture out.

Well Wistech got it done.505 is tuned on his Motard.Speed also with 500ECU.Check out the video

So no excuses for not tuning.If a 505 can survive the tuning link process any motor can.Wistech is bike much better tuned or what?

Pheww there for awhile i thought i had the biggest engine at 495...I heard most were 450's that got a PC. I have a 1000 ecu that shouldn't be a problem should it?

505 was a 1000ecu.No problem.His Speed was 500 ECU 432.Will make video of that also.Just need to find time.So what do you all think of the huge load put on motor?Could you hear it in video?Just imagine 300 rpm at wide open throttle!That 505 shook the whole room!Very exciting.Reminded me of sound of motor running up the big hill at L.S. Utah a gear high.
