A 440ex can pull some awful high gearing but top end is only place they ever had anything and it took quite awhile to get there.But like I said top end is where a LTR fails pretty bad.

Yeah, I realy like the top-end power the Dale has. when it gets above mid RPM there is no stopping it.

Having ran and raced both extensively, I will say that the C-dale is faster out of the crate. With mods the C-dale gets faster, but the LTR gains more with mods(from stock). 27 said something about the LTR falling on it's face in 5th, but no more than a C-dale unless it has a motard. From the sounds of things though, you will be way more modded than the LTR your facing and should beat him unless he's a good rider, then it will be interesting. Just remember, it's always a pissing contest until you back it up! Good luck, they are both great machines.

Anyways I have a Suzuki LT-R450 with following mods:
Yoshimura RS-5 2.gen exhaust
Cherry bomb
Fuel atv airbox eliminator kit.
Hotcam intake cam
Soon a powercommander
With these mods it DOSEN'T fall on it's face in 5th gear!

Sweet! lol All you need with that powercommander is a high comp piston and the race will be a big disappointment for somebody! haha Throw a 13.75:1 CP race piston in there or an ATP 14:1 piston and you will LOVE that thing, not to mention killer holeshots. Good luck fellas.....

Im not gonner run a that high compression piston but thinking of buying a 500ccm big bore kit with just a littel higher compression.
I am already taking holeshots!
