Thinking about joining the Army

Hey guys, Im in the NC NG at the moment going for Active Army, like a bunch of guys had said before my post is that you join for the right reasons, dont join just to pay off things because it wont happen as quick as you think, you have to work for it, going in will pay for your school, but only the national gaurd will do that right after AIT, if you join any other branch, that includes Marines/Navy, AF, or the Active Army you will have to serve active for 4 years before you will see any tuition assistance. so i would say hold off, if you dont plan on going to the Army for the right reasons, and to be honest, unless your in school and in ROTC, which means you must be contracted with the ROTC program in college, which you contract with them your 3rd year in ROTC, you will be deployable, so you will have a strong chance of going for a tour.
