Yup, I've seen that quite a few times....
Not just s/arm bolts, but front shock (upper) and rear brace (the one that needs to be loosened to remove the plug)
I think that with a regular maintenance teardown, inspection and re-assembly, things like this can be caught before they catch you.

Another thing with chassis maintenance.
I rarely use a torque wrench....just the appropriate sized tools (no 6' prybar!)
Wind 'em up until they pinch and then a grunt'n'fart and they're good to go.

I have a new bolt on the way but in the meantime I drilled out the hollow pivot bolt and tapped it for a half inch fine thread stud .
Im sure it is far stronger than it was before. We ran 60 miles tonight and it worked perfect. I can fix anything.:hammer:
