Heres the flywheel that the SAS decided to rip in half . Funny thing is it still ran but not very well and did not spin. Good thing there is a steel ring on the outside.
Geez. I'm glad my old Dale's motor last as long as it did. Now when I get my new one, someones gotta do the updates for me so it doesn't end up in here .
I noticed that also.I think that good flywheels have just enough material for survival and drilling into them is weakening them even if you fill the hole with a pin,screw or whatever.
I have a blown up dale motor in my basement just asking to get put into a roller. My first dale the coolant corroded the weep hole, cloged the system, overheated, and then dropped a valve. My spark plug, valve, and piston smashed into each other.
