Just an update for everyone. Blanks were cut about 2 weeks ago. I was given a timeline of about another 5 weeks to complete.

I really wanted to get on this deal, but I don't want a rod for a stock crank I wanted one for the 6mm strokers. Maybe in time we can get a group buy on the 6mm crank rods?

Timbo 6mm stroker crank? We'll have to see how this goes. There may be a rod out there that works for the 6mm stroker. Not sure the length Tim uses.

I hope to talk to Tim in the next few days, if I remember I'll ask him. The sad thing is I think there are only a hand full of 6mm strokers? I doubt enough to warrant a group buy?

I did talk to Tim, He did say on the latest 6mm the rod is longer and also a bit smaller on the crank end OD so it clears everything in its swing. He didn't give me any spec's but said if this buy works out he'll probably do a buy him self for the plus 6's. So we'll see.

Have there been any issues with the rods that Tim uses now on the strokers? just wondering what the motivation for wanting to change.

Timely manner and making rods is one of the things Tim hated doing. This helps free Tim up to get caught up and do more of the stuff he actually likes doing.

Are these rods fordged or just machined from a billit?
