I just got done driving from stillwater oklahoma to poe dunk michigan, not quite 950 miles, cheapest i saw was 1.88 in centrall ILL and the most expensive was my home town, 2.20 both prices unleaded:eek:

$1.99 for 87 octane on 3/16/05 then 24 hours later it was $2.20 SAME GAS>>>SAME STATION!!!!:mad:

1.97 for the tundra
2.25 for the turbo diesel passat (38 mpg)

Last year i guessed we'd see $3 in 2005. I didn't expect it to come so soon! Just think how bad $4 is gonna suck, and will you still have a job with which to pay it?:confused:

Thats Malibu though isn't Malibu an expensive area though? Like you can go from town to town here in mass and find prices from 1.91-2.05 for regular depending on where you are

Yes, Malibu is expensive, but if one gets away with it they all jump in. I average 1500-1600 per week because I work in outside sales for a welding supply company and have a large territory. I would kill to have some of the gas prices that you are complaining about. I have a Dodge Ram with the Cummins and average 19.1 mpg but it still gets $$$ at the mileage I'm driving!!!

Here in Lexington, KY....it just jumped to $2.20/gal. for 87. This is crazy.

guess I better hurry and fill up the Sequoia and the 2 tanks on the F250 while I can still afford it!

Unfortunately, I agree with Ryanstones. If you think the prices are going to come back down, you're dreaming. Up, Up, and Away!

import their oil from the Saudis.
