biggrin.gif I think a parachute is a better idea Kdeal!

I'm not so worried about the stopping part (long runway), it's the flying molten metal & my meat & potatoes that I'm a little worried about.....LOL

Well, I just found out that there is no chance that I can make it to this ride. I have kept my schedule clear since the dates were posted only to find out last night that my sister's highschool graduation is during the same weekend. I begged the principal to postpone it to next weekend but he wouldn't budge. LOL...just kidding. So I'm out. I was really really really looking forward to this ride. I hate that I have to sit this one out.

Jess, I will miss meeting up with you again, as it is always a pleasure. BUT, start marking your calander for late September (looking like 9/29 or 9/22 weekend). I will have a few surprises to announce concerning that one, and I know that you will want to go! We are moving it back a week or two so we can try and avoid the cold or wet weather. There is a two week opening in most race schedules that I am trying to fit this into. The announcements will start popping up after the ride at Speed's.

Sounds good Ken. I have tried all angles to get around this graduation thing but there is just no way and its too far away for an overnight trip.

Someone contacted me about hotels in my area. The Sleep Inn in Bolivar, Ohio is the closest hotel to the ride. It is about 10 minutes from my place. The phone number is : (330) 874-3435. When I called them the other day, they said that they had about 30 rooms available for that weekend.

I sure hope theirs lots of pictures from this ride smile.gif

As for pictures, I am planning to have at least 2 video cameras rolling for this one. After the ride, I am going to edit the video footage, add some special affects, then put it onto a DVD disc. As for still pictures, after I receive ALL the still pics taken from everyone, I am going to combine them onto one disc also.

I need to get a idea on how many are coming, so I will start a new thread for how many are showing up.

The track is shaping up nicely. Things are coming together on my end. I think it will be a great ride this year.
