Could be.Bumper style also could make a difference. My Ramps are 6' 3" thats what I used for a guage since they fit fine even in my Tacoma xtracab I had at time. Both Tacoma and Tundra have Bedliners.Latest I have heard is that in Crewcab 1/2tons 07 Ford made there box longer.Toyota made thiers shorter.I wont be buying Toyota again unless box fits a quad.

I understand that. I usually just pull my trailer for quads anyway since it is so much easier to load them.

You can always get different options on the bed sizes. When I bought my Ford I got a 6.5ft w/the extended supercab. Didn't want the crew b/c it only came in a 5ft option at the time. As mentioned you can now get a I believe 6.5ft crew Ford and can even get an 8ft bed on the supercab or standard. I almost went w/the 8ft myself but everything's good for the quad at 6.5.

Pretty well every manufacturer has multiple options on beds now in all cab sizes.

Ehh that will change as well because Toyota is supposed to bring there diesel to the states in '09 I believe. That is what the dealer told my inlaws.

Hey Steve, my truck is an '05 GMC CREW CAB 3/4 ton, 4 full doors, and it does in fact have a 6.5 foot box. I have hauled a quad in the back with the tailgate shut, and I just measured it. I'm sorry you got stuck with a toyota, if only you had waited one more year. Ha!

Roger,

He's not tall enough to get into the 3/4 ton real trucks! (for that fact neither am I, LOL) My next truck will need to be a diesel, so unless Chevy comes out with their new 1/2 ton diesel sometime soon, I'll be getting a 3/4 ton HD model (and a step stool...)
