So its just spray painted? Did you take any special steps. Like multiple coats or anything like that? Also any idea where I can pick a hood up?

Thanks for the compliments guys, I appreciate it. If anyone needs a hood, just let me know and I'll make some calls and see what I can find. The way I painted was very easy, I just applied many thin coats while the hood was hanging from my out door clothes line. lol I didn't want to go too in depth with it because I wasn't sure how it would hold up. It has however held up very well even with crashing and getting roosted and so on. Happy New Year everyone!

Ooops, forgot, yes it is just spray paint. But it's not bad becuase it's very thick and if you get a roost chip, just touch it up! JST - yea Lightning gets dusty at times, but you can't beat it for $5 to ride all day!!!! Not bad huh? Have you been there since they added the pro section? For $5 ahead maybe we should rent it once the weather gets nice and have a big C-dale party!

Took 2nd overall...had a messed up ball joint and a punctured rear tire here in Bartow, FL. There was a 310 Powervalve 250r framed monster and a YFZ450 that kept trading spaces each race until the guy on the 250r took a bad spill and DNF. I like the performance...just need some dual beadlock Hipers and some 18" rear holeshots.

Here is mine. I'm going to make my first XC appearance at the Palaltka, FL GNCC and I should be traveling the circuit from there I just can't make Texas.
