Cannondaleriders

Hey fellas I was at a local flea market when i saw this dirt bike sitt back against this ol truck, I asked the fella what he wanted for it he said 120 bucks, its a 97 yz80, i offered him 75 and he said no, so i just left it, then when he saw me walk by eyeing it again he sold it to me for 75 bucks, it is all their but the motor, he sent it off to have it rebuilt but didnt want to bay the 400 bucks to get it out of the shop, so now i have this dirt bike, its in **** neer mint, and it has the carb to, but just missing a motor, so i need one, I got a tig, and a mill, so i can make my own motor mounts anyone got anything just drop me a line!

well i dont plan on puttin a dale motor in it, i was talkin like any dirt bike motor i have put a rm 250 in an 80 before, screamer!!! but just about anything fairly cheep, thats chain driven!!

AHH! cool I was like that dale motor might be a smidge to much for the 80 frame!

yeah just a bit, i just want something to ride, and i wanna try and jump my pond on it!!

Heck find out the shop he left motor at.$480 is cheap for a nice 80.Shop may even give you a better price for paying guys bill.

A modded XR motor in a MX bike frame make one **** of a trail bike!

I have like an 80's model RM250 engine it's air cooled. It needs a bit like top end ,piston kit ,electrical. The crank spins freely. I know a dude who has a YZ490 engine but I'll have to see if he still has it. But that might be suicide.
