im in the process of getting my engine back together. it has a JE 450 kit 13:1 cp. What would be a better fuel to run. C12 108 octane, leaded, non-oxygenated or motorsport 109 with about the same octane, unleaded and oxygenated.

i run both but prefer the ms 109.it has a little better throttle response and maybesome overall hp's but the thing i like most about it is it burns ALOT cleaner than the c12 or any leaded fuel for that matter.the c12 leaves a ton of deposites on my valves and head and that wich i think is a no no.when i dissamble my motor after running the ms my piston has practically no carbon buildup and exhaust valves look ten times better.the injectors are probably better off with the unleaded to.i have also found that the sunoco gt plus to be about 4 bucks a gallon cheaper here.i will be trying that soon to.

I like Delaware's answer. But, I would not run leaded fuel as a normal thing. The valves and seats are different in motors set up for leaded and no lead.
