What is the charge on the battery? (cheap volt meter can be had for under 10 bucks at radio shack)

what exactly happens when you do the start sequence? Key on, on / off in the on position, hit the starter.

Your post leaves me with too many questions to ask. (You say you shut it down because it was making a weird noise maybe a bolts coming loose.) When you took it to the dealer what did they say about that noise??? Have you had a stud update kit put in to keep the engine bolts from backing out? I am sure you have checked the plug right? Is the fuel pump working?.. drain the gas out of the fuel filter then prime the fuel pump with the start button see if it fills up fast. Go to another Dealer Find someone in your state that knows about Cannondales and then take it to them. ...
