A trip to the scrap yard

#1 Post by haydug »

Well, with my cannibal on Ebay going for nearly nothing, I figured I would save myself the ebay fees, and go the the recycler.

Yes, each tub has a motor in it as well. One motor only has around 1-2hours on it, but with it not being updated, I didn't waste my time trying to sell it to someone(I should have donated it to mxer450 for his project), $175 for the whole load, not bad for scrap. :drink:

I sure would have liked to had one of those starters.

Any others laying around???

I wouldn't mind changing my 02 to a hydraulic clutch.

What do I need?

We could switch it over while you still got my motor apart.smile.gif

Let me know if it can happen.

your joking right? Each one of those motors probably would have brought that on ebay!!!!!!!!!!!! You should have at least posted all that stuff on here for the members to have first dibs on if you are serious.

There's no way you got that much for them. You have diassemble them and separate the aluminum from steel to get any decent scrap price. Well thats what I have to do.

Well, they wanted it seperated, but the guy felt sorry for me, he said anyone with that many cannondale engines, he felt sorry for, so he just gave me the money, even gave me 2 Ben Franklins, and told me to keep the change.
