Cannondaleriders

I was looking back a few issues in dirt wheels and i found A artical on a cannondale drag racer (red with grey flames) in it he stated "in the motor department we put a 450 kit and head work" but them later on in the article he states hes making 70 + hp with out the nitrious.
Thats a lot of hp i think the most that were getting is around 56 right?
So i think its bull what do u think?

70hp at the motor may be possible. Does it say 70rwhp? I don't know what percentage of power is lost in the drivetrain, but it's quite a few hp. If a bike makes 48rwhp and a stock Atv makes less than 40rwhp thats at least 8 hp lost throught the drivetrain. I'd guess the stock motors probably make at least 50 hp. Keep in mind the tranny probably eats some hp.
