Cannondaleriders

well i have put 3500 down on the moto.
so im getting it this weekend.
but i rode it and i noticed a little vibration in it..
and it doesnt have any updates..
so i was wondering what would be the price for a whole new engine with updates and all..
a engine that i could ride the piss out of without having to work on it much..
because i just dont want to always be working on my quad..
plz let me know..

a new engine or just getting your's rebuilt?

If you just want a super reliable engine then send it to any of the builders on here (Timbo or Brad if you can). Z400 bearing with stage 8 and the rest of the updates and you are all set. Stroker crank would be best cause **** they are nice.

well when i get this..
i have about 100 ppl tell me im going to be 80% slower.
and i want to prove them wrong but if im fixing my quad then its gonna be a problem.
so i want to start racing right away.
so i figured i could buy a 463 stroker. from one of them.
and then i would put it in then send mine to get rebuilt.
so i want to buy a whole new engine.
a very very reliable one. i race mx.. and i punish my bike when im riding. im very hard on them.

o and when i rode at the track on the bike i was hauling some seriuos a$$.. the bike is great.. the suspenion was a little soft but a easy fix.. and i found that i leaned off the bike way more then i usaully do..

well im not going to race nationals or ama races for a while..
and sry i wasnt sure.. and i looked ont he haydugcycle website and there arent many prices on there.. mabe im on the wrong site..
o and dude ur quads r sick..

is it a atk full quad or a atk engine in a dale??
if so did u buy that engine and how much was it..
i just wanna have a very reliable motor..

i think im just going to ride it a couple races and see what happends.. but it looks like im going to have a trx450r to ride also so i might send my motor to get a crank and bearing..and a stage 8..

I raced on a stock dale motor with moto mapping for a long time. And I was not racing against slouches on a MX track. Im just now getting motorwork and im not going to even go to a 450! you dont need "the works" with these quads! If you can learn to make a stock dale run right...then they are really fast! Just remember... they LIKED to be revved high...the harder you ride them then the better they run!

i just dont wanna have a unballanced crank and have my engine seeze and have the problems i had with my trx450r..
but i guess im going to try it and see..
i and yes i kept the dale very well revved out and it rode the f#ck out..

cool deal. Mine is an early 02 (cable clutch) and it never had crank problems... its been ridden REALLY hard this year too. She's run great. I heard the early 02s had the better of the cranks... not sure if yours was one of the "batch" that mine was in. After being almost 4 yrs old im just now getting the crank and everything replaced, and the crank didnt go out on me yet actually.
