Wow, what a disappointment. The seller stated it had 40 hours of riding on it and kept up with the maintenance. Brother in law is C&D Racing, Colby.
I thought it was nice of him to help his brother in law. Wow, I never would have guessed.
Found out all kinds of problems other than what was disclosed.
Clutches gone, need new set.
Tranny filter is stuck inside the engine, oil was like molasses, metal in it big time.
Engine oil looked like it was changed a year ago, also full of metal.
Had to drive out the engine oil plug, from the bottom, since it was overtourgued.
Shocks were supposedly rebuilt by C&D, leaking oil at the bottom seal, found that today, nice.
Map would not let the engine run, had to remap it, don't know what it was, but it runs nice now.
Oil coming out of exhaust seal area, must be the valve guides are either bad, or the ball check valve is getting stuck, oh, forgot to mention that.
Seat insert broken, oh, forgot that.
Guess I got taken, after giving them cash, and they would not return the phone call, the owner Chancy should at least give a S*%T about a bro-in-laws reputation, guess he was in on it too, he would not return calls either, that is now garbage.
Not even one call returned, by either Colby or Chancy. Nice guys.
Boy, I would think twice about dealing with these guys, this is bull*^$% that I have to payout over $500.00 more to just get me to the point of getting things I did not budget for, say nothing for the updates that were supposedly done, that we not.
Stay away from C&D Racing and their friends, they will take your money and then too bad for trusting them. I have made numerous attempts at giving them a chance to make this right, guess they do not care.
BAD NEWS! I am not disappointed anymore, nor am I pickin a fight, it is just to bad in the modern world, some people just do not care to be straight up, a phone call would have fixed a lot of this. I would have expected better from a company that was supposed to be good business. Guessed wrong.  :w:

What part of I didn't own the ATV, I delivered it, did you not understand. I guess you should have drove 9.5 hrs and looked at it yourself.
I did not have daily posession of this atv Chancy lives 4.5 hrs from here I got it and delivered it. He was honest with any known defect of the used atv seems to me everything you are finding are internal problems, alot of the things you are bringing up were disclosed to you before you agreed on a price and the things that weren't disclosed were unknow due to being internal. He had the side cover off the atv only once immediatley after purchase to check the crank plate bolts so how would he know that the clutch is out of spec in your opinion when he didn't have any problems with it.
Seems to me you are being over dramatic, do you not remember making the comment to me you were suprised when it even started due to the cold weather.

Hey Colby this guy posted how he dropped the motor to install a Falicon Crank. This is definitely an attempt to slam someone so he can get money.

Here is the thread

Wow elkapower you had to drop the motor? Sounds like it was already out.

I have dealt with C&D for over 4 years and have never had a problem with them at all. I also don't understand how it is any of their problem when they were only delivering it to you. So why drag their name through the mud?

Thanks for the support Derno.
I do believe he is putting the Falicon crank in another cannondale he had sitting there.

The only legit gripe he may have would be the striped out drain plug (which I did not know about) and the stuck tranny filter which no one would know about untill the next oil change.
I guess I can send him a filter and a drain plug even though this is not my atv. But I am a bad business person  shoot the delivery guy :wow
