I know there are getting to be quite a few of us stroker guys out there, so I thought I would ask for some advice. I haven't gotten a whole lot of seat time on the Dale lately, but so far Ive been pretty successful on it in drag races. Although, my starts are a little rough sometimes. I was just wondering what you guys have found to be the fastest way to attack it. Even with razr 2s, I can launch in 3rd on grass and the motor dogs just a tad, or I can fight to keep the front down in second. I cant really decide which is faster. My gearing is stock with a stock bore timbo stroker. Im looking to change my gearing soon. Its way too low and will rev each gear out about as fast as I can shift it on pavement. What gearing do you guys run? What do you recomend with agressive 20s on the back?

I run 15/38 for MX and TT, but did a good job in soem drag racing I did. I run 18" tires though. On holeshots I start in first (or second if it is real slick) and short shift to second and just keep a lot of weight on the front and gradually slide back as I get goign enough for the front end to stay down.

I run 14/42 with a 20" SandStars. But I think a 43 or 44 rear would work a little bit better.
