Sorry Neil (cdale55)it is dethroning time again. The old record has been beat or should I say shattered. Dynoed a 467 and a 495.Now I guess its time to float my own boat. I am the 1st and only member of the 60hp club, and also the 1st and only member of the 70 hp club.Eat that wistech!Lol!The 467 dynoed max 63 hp 37 ft lbs torque and the 495cc started out at 65hp 42 ft lbs torque and ended up at 71 hp 45lbs of torque. Now I have the record for most power for 450cc(448)52hp,467cc 63,and 495cc 71hp,but am sorry to say wistech has the record for 432cc.Wistech still has a crown(for now). This was done at a different dyno which proves the wisconson dyno at Mike cycle does not read low.I do however believe this one reads high, but no doubt the 60 hp barrier has been broken. This was done on a car dyno.I would have to say a car dyno is much harder on the motor than a standard atv/kart dyno.Normal pull time on a cart dyno is about 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 seconds. It took 8-12 seconds per pull in 4th gear.To say the least it was exteme load on the motor and after about 20-30 pulls per quad premature wear has been put upon both motors. This was the 1st time I was scared that I was going to blow chuncks on the dyno. For comparison I asked the dyno technician what hp power other quads pulled there.Last week he dynoed a 500+cc 450r honda which pulled low mid 50s.So that tells me that the dyno can't be too far off.For 495 race reports so far have been going all around to drag races and the 495 has not yet lost a drag race against any 4 stroke since properly setup and has been beating many mod drag banshee's.When Cannondale came out they were far ahead of the competition in power and now 5 & 1/2 years later still has more modding potential than any other 4 stroke quad out there.Awesome work from a bicycle company.

can you post some parts lists for each motor? Would like to see how that power was made.

I just want to know what it would cost to have you build me one. I need the motor on my fx400 gone through.

Holy cow those are some impressive numbers. 70hp thats incredible actually.

Congratulations by the way, all your hard work you deserve and have earned those numbers!

How many hours are on each motors? I just wonder about longevitiy pushing out that much power.
