SO i meet this guy finally.

Has a 06 TRX-R,.

Has the HRC kit (cam,baffle,airbox lid,green wire mod)

And he took me.

From a dead stop and a roll..maybe 300ft?

We are evenly matched..he's 230lbs....so am I


Now I will say this..off the line it sucks because all I can do is lift the front.


Also..it seems like the dale still isn't tuned right..it seems to bog a lil if you stab the throttle after letting off..like braa........braawwwwww..braaaaaa


I'm running the Blaze Speed map w/ 10% fuel...Also it seems that i hit the rev limiter in 5th pinned w/ 20's



I just dunno what the deal is..

I';ve raced a few built YFZ's...but these blasted TRX-R's are taking me

Well he does have right around 48-50hp.Get your gearing right.I bet you are geared too low.

He's putting out 50hp w/ just those small mods?geez.

I am running those 20's w/ 14-42 gearing.

So those YFZ's arn't maing that much power even w/ there mods? (porting,high comp,bore)

450rs are putting out a little more than 06 YFZ and alot more than early YFZ's.Try 14-39 and start in second gear.

ok...will do...400ex rear sproket work right?

I won't really sacrifice any bottom will I?


Also..I've noticed just today..than wow..you sit very far back on the dale compared to the 450's..the dale you are behind the engine..where the 450's your almost on top.


I love the dale...will be sad the day i let it go..if i do
