I went to Pismo this last sat. To watch the races and see what they were about. Saw 2 dales and one ATK. I didn????????t see all the races but the one I did see the dale took the holeshot, not by much though only about 1/2 bike length to a 450r I????????m not sure what happened when they went past me though. The one who got the holeshot ended up crashing. I kept trying to find them to talk to them but it never happened. So I????????m wondering if they are here on the forums?

Glad you asked.

The ATK you speak of is a Team Money$hot teammate, and mechanic, of mine, Kenny Sanford. He was in Open B, got the holeshot by a HUGE distance, and flat CHECKED OUT, he was up to 5th overall(Open A included) coming up on 4th, just amazing what he was doing. He nailed that hole on the holeshot corner and it shot him off. He got an ambulance ride, but ended up with just a concussion and was fine. He's been a little loopy since then, but he'll be fine. Another teammate of mine, Bryan Grey, rode Kenny's bike on Sunday in the Pro-Am, and holeshotted(with 2 of my other teammates right behind him, all 10 bike lengths ahead of the rest of the pack) Unfortunatly, he blew the rear shock on the second lap, and DNFed.

As for the other 2 Cannondales, those were both on our team also. Me on the Red #171 Cannondale, and my sister on the #261 Cannondale with the Quadtech hood....there was actually another one out there just duning, not sure who it was.

My weekend went well, I raced in the Open race, in Open A. I just paced myself, and ran my own race, ended up getting 8th. 8th is a qualifying spot for the Pro-Am(semi-pro, whatever you want to call it). Bryan helped me out tremendously, along with convincing me to race it. So I endured the 2 hours of Pismo ****(8 miles of 2 to 3 foot deep whoops, some square edged, very little rythm), and came out with a 13th. Not all that bad for my first Pro-Am, I think.....looking forward to continuing the good luck that I've obtained, and doing good next year in Open A and Pro-Am, on a Cannondale.

My sister, Ann Marie, had a decent weekend also. She came out 9th in Womens B, which locked up her 3rd place National Championship. She's VERY happy about that, and will be on a Cannondale in Womens A, and maybe Open A, next season.

You guys didn????????t have a problem with sound check? I think they said next year it will be 96db? I hope next year I can enter it,it looked like a lot of fun.

Thanks Steve

I remembered another Dale that was there also, not sure why I forgot.

Yet another teammate of mine, Rennick Oxford, on the Dale with the FX plastics, #969. Actually used to be Laptraffics ride(Lap was on the Sundahl Banshee, if you care)

There was supposed to be another dale there, a teammate of mine, Paul Pogue(ppogue, on here) raced his YFZ instead of his Dale, because the Dale just has FAR to many hours.

As for sound, they were pretty easy on people. One teammate was sent through tech with 109db, from what i've heard. I was at 102, and they passed me.....Apparently it's going to be 99db limit next year.

If you race it next time, make sure your stamina is built up, that track wears you down quick. I'm real sore now, of course. Hopefully I'll heal up for the BITD Avi 150 this weekend
