Corvette was fastest in 1/4mi over all the other domestics that is until the new Viper came out.Ford isnt even in the game.This is new vehicles I am talking of.

You wont ever get that.At some point brand name becomes a mute point since almost everything is aftermarket.Nitrous,Blowers,Turbo all make engine size and brand a mute point.Sorry but factory cars being compared is as real as your ever going to get cause after that it becomes a game of modifications and dialing in and most of all $$$.None of that has anything to do with if its a chevy or ford,VW,Toyota,etc even.

Ford has the GT,I think holds the record for 0-60. Ford also has the new Shelby Mustang,witch is nothing to shake a stick at either.

Well, king would have to be Mopar then. All Top Fuel engines are based off of a big block hemi style block.

Claas, I think the new Z06 is the king of the 1/4 for domestics now. Mid 11's as I recall...

There is definately no clear cut better or faster brand overall.Both can be very very fast. It's a matter of choice. The Chevy vs. Ford vs. Mopar debate will rage on forever. lol

All true facts......but i dont care who you are...the chevy 350 is the best mass produced engine ever made....reliable..powerful...mod easily and can get a never ending amount of parts for them.

I would agree. Had a '63 nova with a 450hp stroker 350. Loved that car.

Same can be said about Ford 302.$400 NOS and you got yourself a fast little Mustang.
Mjollnir ZO6 was fastest Mopar just upped the Ante with Viper for this year.
