While I think its a thing of beauty I do have to laugh at them still claiming it puts out 48hp. Maybe they are talking at the crank...i just hope the guy selling this doesn't know it really only puts out 40hp.

48hp at 11,600rpm is flat out lying. The max hp is not at the rev limiter.

The other manufacturers flat out lie also. Atk is just trying to fit in.

So true. They should take it to the next level and say it weighs 300pounds, goes 100mph,is an entirely new design and has industry leading technology ect. Maybe take some ideas from automotive comercials.

Most advertised HP ratings are at the crank. I can't remember what was listed on the certificate of origin for my quad, wther it was list as rwp or bhp or whatever.

ATK's site lists them at 46hp, not sure where this guy is getting 48hp. I would have to say there is nothing wrong with ATK posting the 46hp on the site. Mine did dyno at 45-46 stock.

Maybe he has a shortened air horn giving it 2 more ponies. lol

That quad was on ebay 2wks ago for 9700 I believe.
