I was looking at Ebay this morning and came across an ad for a sweet looking 2003 Speed. The ad states that it is a 468cc Falicon stroker motor with a Wiseco big bore piston kit. The starting price is low @ $1900, and the bike looks stock otherwise. This is a good buy if it is legitimate, but look at the muffler on this bike.... It is a early 2002 exhaust on a late 2003 quad with a $2900 motor!!! I just can't believe someone would run this thing with a stock can. It must have been a bear to tune, and it is defintely not the stock exhaust, so it can't be that he never got around to updating it. What are your thoughts???

PS: I have seen this bike go thru Ebay previously (didn't sell)??

If it was closer, I would go look it over, not that I could really tell anything w/o cracking open the motor.

He may have had sold the aftermarket exhaust and put a stocker back on. Or gutted a stocker. Or due to noice restrictions, couldn't put a different exhaust on.

Doesn't a Falicon stroker and big bore make a 470?

He says it is a Wiseco piston. There are 97mm Wiseco piston kits. I just sold one to someone the other day, as I like the CP piston the best for the Cannondales.
