did they make a2001 cannible??

01 fx 400 ..but the names came about in 02....in an article from ? magazine the called the new 02 cannondale the cannibal...they said cannondale used that name...but i dont know if thats true?

Maz has confirmed that is how the Cannibal name came about. The 2001 models were VERY different in that they had a different fuel injection control system, and are considered inferior to their GP Controlled counterparts of later years. Some have found that the 2001 engines had better components though, such as higher lift cams, etc.... Your choice. Since Cannondale was constantly modifying and making things better I tend to lean towards the 2002 & 2003 models.

My 2002 Cannible was bought in 2001 and was exactly the same as a FX400 except for red plastic.

Can anyone tell anything from these pictures? I mean about the year? I can't really tell anything, but I"m not an expert. Looks like after market a-arms with blaze shocks, aftermarket exhaust, plenty of missing parts, aftermarket handlebars and a tether, aftermarket wheels; I'd sure like some closer pics of the front suspension.

Looks like MOTO or BLAZE front hubs. also 2001 seat??? No foot pegs.
