Just finished a street legal Speed. It is currently better then a new one. Engine fully updated, blue bolt kit, canniboomer engine mount, ported, K&N podfilter, cams timed @ 106i/107e, brand new '03 toaster. Has 4 hours on it now.

It's also got new ball-joints (lower ones are much stronger then stock), new tie-rod ends, new chain and sprockets 15/36, new battery, boomer tank upgrade, new set road tires and a like new set offroad tires. (stock ITP Holeshots). Plastic in very good condition and a brand new seat.

Topspeed is amazing on the road, 147 km/h -> 92 mp/h @ 10.500 RPM. (with 18" rear tires")

I also noticed the engine stays very cool, does not get above 60 degrees celcius when driving fast. Temperature acording to the Trailtech Vapor.

Do many people ride quads on the street?

Here in this part of Europe there are more quads riding on-road then off-road.

It is very fun to ride with a quad on-road, it makes many (all) people turn their heads. laugh.gif

Is that a +4 stem on that thing??? WOW ohmy.gif

It is a custom made stem, about 3-4 inch longer then stock.

I got it so low by using Moto a-arms with speed ohlins and I screwed the lockring for the rearspring to the top, spring is now lose but the quad is only used on-road.

Now I just have to wait for my ITP SS112 rims with on-road tires and then it's done (the black one).

What no headlights?
put some stock lights on with HID bulbs and ballasts, those lights are beter suited for the road than off road.
