I am contemplating a job as an ATV design engineer for Arctic Cat in
Thief River Falls, MN. I think this might just be my dream job, but it is 16 hours away and I have never been in the area. I know there are quite a few of you guys up there. How do you like it? How much different are your winters than in Central Missouri? How much of a summer do you get? Maybe I need to take up ice racing?

Things are MUCH different than central MO. You will have more snow for longer than you have ever seen. But, summer is not as bad as down south. If I were you I would jump all over it man, and if it turns out you don't like it, then move on to something else. You are young and can take the winters!

Save up some cash and get a snow mobile.

Do it!All the reps and such I have met from A.C. are enthusiasts. They are making more and more product in the USA all the time.It would be a challenging job but very rewarding I would think.Just look at the Wildcat and their new sleds!
