Hi do any of you guys know much about the PTO on old gravely 2 wheel tractors? Mine was mowing great then shut off the motor. Starts right up goes great until I engage Pto and it dies straight away. Belts and mower blades turn fine, any ideas? Thanks

Are there any safety switches? Sounds like a seat switch.

Hi thanks no there's no switch (there's no seat!), it's an old two wheel tractor from the 60s. I'll take the mower attachment off and see what I can see.

Ah I see. A quick Google search would have told me that.

No worries, I had never heard of them either until a guy at my new job mentioned them. It's exactly the right tool for my house, but only when it's running! laugh.gif
