We need at least 4 of each size to go ahead with an run of that size so the 98mm 2.2mm stroker and stock stroke pistons could be a go. I was just measuring up some old WWE designed CP built pistons and they are around 3.852" to 3.8535" with steel sleeves at 3.857" . My new 98mm CP design piston is 3.8565" So they can be bored about .003" to fit the larger CP piston. If you want just pistons you need to measure your sleeves to see if they will fit the new pistons or need to be bored. If they are aluminun/nikasil sleeves you might not be able to use them.

As far a sleeves with piston kits I think an minimum order of 10 will get them done . Im pretty sure Tim is completely out of sleeves . I have 1 extra.

How hard is it to find steel sleeves?

Pretty rough. I've found four over the past couple years. One lucky ebay score at 97mm for $20 as they though it was stock. The other three were in machines I bought. One bike and two quads. Each had been rebuilt by south bay moto who used steel sleeves. Luckily all were able to be bored to 98mm but one by Timbo. I would much rather have a steel setup than nikasil.

Any word on getting this done? I need a couple pistons and atleast one cylinder now from the looks of it. Last conversation with Tim wasn't very optimistic about him getting a stock in but it's completely understandable with the cost of everything up front. I'm just sick of seeing two engines sitting in totes awaiting parts. (Pistons, exhaust cams)

Who would be the one taking deposits to get this done? Might as well start it so we can get this process going since I'm sure it's not a short turnaround with CP.

Visually, whats the difference between them? Theres always a few on ebay, sometimes craigslist. I may pick up a cannibal by me for a motor.

98mm on stock stroke is 460cc. I talked with Tim at 2am when he will actually answer the phone. He said he will wait till school is out to order pistons.

I'll take a stock stroke piston and sleeve.

Do we know what the actual price is or will that not be determined until order is placed?
