Hey guys/gals... My name is Scott from south jersey. I've been a dirtbike motocrosser most my life and never owned a quad. Thought I'd let everyone
in on my project and introduce myself in the same. I build, restore and customize hotrods, antiques and custom cars as a job profession, whatever
it is from engine building to fabrication to body refinishing. I've recently given up on racing two wheelers and shortly after, acquired this poor old
Cannondale Cannibal that seems to be mostly untouched other than the motor that I got with it that was mostly disassembled. I did not know much
about the Cannondales until I got this one and now after hours of research and conversations on the phone, my mind is saying WHERE HAS THIS
QUAD BEEN ALL MY LIFE!!!.. I love everything about it, from the programmable pcm F.I. to the complete engine design. So I decided that this
American piece of machinery deserves some HOTROD show quality TLC restoration. I'm building it as I would one of my gems (hotrods/streetrods).
Currently I have it completely disassembled. The frame has been cleaned to perfect showroom condition but not polished, I love the machined
aluminum finish. All of the suspension and steering has been powdercoated candy/translucent blue and some parts a pearl gun metal (going for
titanium color). Every single part of it is being restored or replaced. When it is done IT WILL BE A BRAND NEW QUAD, RIDER AND ALL, being that
I am new to owning a quad. It will be built with the intention of being raced on a motocross track. I have had some success racing dirtbikes, now
my plan is to see if I can get this old Dale to Lorretta Lynns national!!!. ANY HELP OR ADVISE ON THIS BUILD IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!...
Now let me see if I can get some pics up for everyone to see.

Hey welcome to the forum! Are you close to NJ Motorsports park? I know they started building a track and some small trails. Post up some pics!

that track is actually the last place I rode a dirtbike. I crashed hard last summer on the camal back step up and injured my shoulder
