New Style Alpinestars Tech 3

Bigfoot wants a new pair of boots. I have had Alpinestars Tech 6's for about 10 years. Since I don't plan on riding a lot in the coming years,I wanted a good reasonably priced replacement.
First off, I wear a size 17 and the Alpinestars size 16 fits pretty good. I am pretty set on the 3 buckle 2018 Tech 3's. Revzilla review says they fit large . Other sites say they fit close to size. Unfortunately I can't go to my local shop and try a pair. And I don't want to order a pair unless I'm pretty sure they would work. I know places offer free exchange shipping, but only exchange not return.
Also, my Tech 6's have the sew on sole and the Tech 3's have the molded sole. I need a big toe box.
Does anybody have the new 3 buckle ,Tech 3's and care to review them for sizing and comfort.
