I have been running .005" intake and .010" exhaust with no issues for over a decade . When you replaced you cam buckets did you make sure they slid in the bores easily? Tight bucket bores lead to lobe and bucket wear and eventual failure . Sometimes new rings refuse to seal upon start up and a teaspoon of oil can get them to start an run till they seat in. Tim has had this issue several times.

This year has me doing everything but building my own stuff but I promised myself to get this old girl running before the end of the year . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wiw9JLcFNFM I went through and installed new axle bearings and while I was in there I put in an axle I think was off of USAMOTO's quad that I bought. It looks like a moto axle but is chrome plated . The snap ring groove by the sprocket hub needed a smaller snap ring that stock but the adjuster groove was for the half moon clips like a cannibal axle? Im wonding what brand this was.

I installed some new LED headlights and dug up a set of nasty chrome and pitted ASR arms. I cleaned them up with a full set of heim joints and tie rod ends. A pair of Speed shocks for sproinging. I wasn't going to drive this thing anymore with the stock suspension. My old bones can't take the punishment. A good 16 hour day today and was enjoying every minute. Especially digging through the inventory for bearings, lights, wires, snap rings. It was like a an easter egg hunt. LOL

Its 1 below zero and this little piggy lit the ice on fire for its breakin run. Im not saying its as fast as my 505 right now but with a dyno tune and a gsx muffler it might be . The new suspension sure is a welcome addition. Its been a long time since I rode a clean and tight asr setup. I wonder how long before the slop set back in.LOL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzzO5gLb-6o
