I don't think that the D&M software is compatible with Palm OS, but I do know that it will work with Pocket PC.

Apparently the only hook-ups that they made were for the IPAQ Compaq version. It isn't software related issue as much as the cable that connects them.

It's not so much of a software issue between Pocket PC's, but they only have the connector for iPaq as Derno said.

Palm and Pocket PC are entirely different OS's and not compatible at all.

You can use a palm pilot just it has to be made by compaq. They do make them. I just use my laptop. Just make sure you have a serial port or the adapter from USB to serial.

All the cable is is a quick sync cable that you have to buy SEPERATE anyway. I got the Ipaq kit the other day and I still need to buy the other cable. Unless it was just my kit...

Do they make a cable to connect the Palm to a 9 pin serial port? If so and the OS doesn't matter it should work fine.

OS does matter it has to be windows based apparently. I don't know about the connections only what I was told from Scooter at Optimum.

It has to be Windows based aka Ipaq ... Pocket PC stuff. Palm OS is totally different.
