Anybody got a pics of the quiet core for the stock moto muffler. Better yet got one for sale.

I've never heard of one for the FMF only the HMF .... does it exist?

I dont know. Im new to the moto.

I tried one in mine and it actually make it louder. :cry: sounded awful!

So do you still have it . Is it one of those that is a crushed pipe with half moon slots in it ir a stack of conical baffles. Could I get a pic. Pleeeeaaassseee. Thanks

It was a year and a half ago, I don't remember what it looked like. I threw it away.

to answer ur question it made my 02 blaze run much quieter but made the motor load up bad:eek: u can make it by removing the end cap. next measure the circumference of ur end cap (approx. 3 5/16) use flat steel stock cut ur circle in middle ( make hole roughly 1 1/2 in. round) find yourself round stock tube same demetions weld pieces together make round tubing roughly 6 1/2 in. long insert into canister. you just made fmf ti4quite core insert for the pipe:) part number thru parts unlimited is 040177. hope this can help. you can also order the spark arrester screen through parts unlimited too. ( around $40.00 ????)

Thanks I found a pic of one . I could build one of those in my sleep. So thats just a straight through pipe . I fail to see how that would decrease the decible level. LOL

The quiet core for the FMF Moto pipe is awful. It robbed lots of power and changed the sound to a higher pitch. The quiet core for a HMf however is good. You may be able to adapt it to a FMF. It loods like to me it would work.
