start disassembling, you have to basically pull the motor all the way apart to get that bearing out. probably talk to big winkey and he can get you the ball bearings for it,

Plumber, have you broken down a motor yet? If not, are you ready to?

Yeah, if that bearing is bad you got a load of work ahead of ya. You will need a flywheel puller. You can go ahead and pull that flywheel off and you should be able to see if the bearing is the problem. (I would think you could) Take the bolt off the flywheel then see if you can pull it off by hand. Do not pry it out. If it isn't loose then you have to use a puller. That will be 1 small step. Check out the manuals and have patience and be very very orderly. You don't want to loose any pieces.

All I can suggest is download the engine manual and go to town. Pulling the motor is relatively easy. There is a walkthrough on how to do it somewhere around here. Here is pretty much what you are going to have to do.

Pull motor out
Pull flywheel
pull sidecover off
take timing chain off via crank bolt
pull head off
pull piston
pull sleeve
pull crank cartridge plate
replace bearing
put it all back together

The engine manual shows everything listed xcept pulling the motor.

Tear is up! sad.gif
