I had heard of people going over 500cc not long after the YFZ came out and I have heard that they also have them running on methanol etc. Must be scary fast! :head:

how bout a true 450? i was thinkin bout getting me one of them:)
but this quad definately has enough power to last a llong time, atleast til top A class anyway..

Hey Doug
there is cheaper to way to make this yfz get near 500c.c.
Get
a- yfz crank ( 63.4mm )
b- coated JE yz 490 big bore kit
c- new cylinder bored/replate
d- necessary gaskets
850$ for all above items and just BOLT-ON THEM !!! ... get them from Max-P___R ( not advertise ) lol
BTW.. do u saw doggrider 508c.c ( falicon stroker crank + 480big bore kit ) ?
I heard that this guy beat TRX450 with NOS, 690 raptors with NOS also and many other modded quads.

oopppps i guess i made a mistake
850$ for new cylinder , bore/replate and coated Yz 490 big bore kit and necesary gaskets
275$ for yz crank.
So it will be 1125$

I would not run a stock rod on a motor putting out this much power. I hope this turns into a rocket, then I can put it up against my 500cc dale!!
