Engine Oil

So we have determined what a lot of people are runnin in there tranny....Well I usually run Spectro 10w-40 Semi Synthetic Blend Tried some new spectro stuff this weekend im thinking thats why my bike is running hot whats everyone else run?

Let's see I have run Mobil one red cap, Amsoil, and now Redline. All have been good to me. Trick isn't brand here it is the frequency of your changes!

for once, i agree with him^^. i use mobil 1 blue cap. you can get it anywhere and it's cheap compared to some other brands people use.

I understnad the frequancy stuff but it seems like when i run anything then Spectro 10w-40 Semi Synth i run hot as ****!!!!!even when the oil is brand new i put it in on Sat and i ran hot right after

i always run hot, then loose all my coolant...

I dont run hot enough to loose any coolant but hot enough to feel real real hot whne u touch the side spars

I think the spars getting hot is pretty normal :confused:

Hmm ok cuz they havent always gotten as hot as they do
but if its no big deal then cool nothin to worry about

I wouldn't worry about heat unless
1) the coolant is boiling
2) the fan runs 100% of the time

Coolant doesnt boil and i dont think my fan ever is on
